Dragon Sail Pharmaceutical has built the first cross-free antibody plant in China in Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with a total investment of nearly RMB 700 million and a production scale of up to 12,000L. The site complies with Chinese, American and European GMP standards, and its unique NONCROS® cross-free antibody production platform complies with requirements for co-linear production of multiple products, featuring high overall operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Leveraging its integrated biopharmaceutical technology platform, Dragon Sail will accelerate the process of discovery, development and production of biological drugs especially for antibody drugs, empowering partners and benefiting patients.

Development History

2022

In May 2022, Dragon Sail was selected as an intelligent factory in Lingang.

In June 2022, Dragon Sail was selected as the special project for the cultivation of science and technology giants in Lingang.

In September 2022, Dragon Sail was identified as the first list of "specialized, special and new" enterprises in Lingang.

In December 2022, the first project of EU formulation production was delivered to the client.

2021

In October 2021, the first batch of 2000L Drug Substance and Production in a GMP standard were successfully delivered to client.

In October 2021, the manufacturing pilot of Lingang successfully passed the EU QP auditing.

In October 2021, Drag Sail won the prize of Lingang’s hope stars.

In December, Dragon Sail won the first list of R&D and Innovation institutions of enterprises in Lingan.

2020

In September 2020, the first cross-free antibody plant was officially operated.

The pilot manufacturing facility of Lingang Blue Bay started to operate in January 2019.
